Welcome to Lucknow Central Public School!

We are pleased that you have taken the time to become familiar with our school community.  We are in the process of investigating all available means to share news and information about our "Lynx Den".

All of the staff at LCPS are committed to, and have a focus on, student achievement.  We are dedicated to creating a safe and inclusive community that will support the success of all students in our school.  Families are encouraged to keep informed and become active members in this, our most important school goal.

Public Speaking

Again this year, the judges at LCPS’ school level Public Speaking event told us that they had a very difficult time determining which students would go onto represent us at both the Royal Canadian Legion Public Speaking competition and the Bruce County Public Speaking Contest.  Students selected topics that were meaningful, topical and presented their research and ideas with enthusiasm.  I would like to thank all of the teachers for the focused instruction that supported all of our students' learning here at LCPS.  The “Den” was a buzz of activity for the last 2 weeks as all students worked diligently on this form of communication!

Winter Continues!

Winter is still officially here!  It appears that it will continue for a few weeks.  This is according to "different" types of weather focasting!  Please consider the weather carefully as you send your child to school each day.  With the exception of severe or extream weather, students spend two breaks outside every school day.  Thank you for working with your child to be prepared each day!

Thank You to our community!
Grade 7 & 8 Trip to Quebec

All of the students, parents, and staff at LCPS truly appreciated the ongoing support of our local community as we plan for the many different activities and events that enhance our students’ educational experience.  The Grade 7 & 8 class has almost reached their fundraising goal for the class trip to Quebec City.  Please watch for other fun fundraising opportunities to support our students.  Thank you again for your support!
